Yonder 2024 Review

Taken from the printed ‘zine we produced at the end of 2024.

We continue on into our sixth year of Yonder. Our Son is just a few short months ahead of Yonder in age; as we see him grow, mature and flourish year on year, we like to think of Yonder as following a similar path - maturing, learning, developing and having a lot of fun in the process.

Everything we do is purpose driven and done with integrity; an organic path that is rooted in the things we love and want to see in our little world of surfing and our local community. After six years of trading; we are no bigger than we were after two years; myself, Tom and Billy, a Sprinter van and a garage. Our reach is bigger, our experience greater, our network wider and our community is stronger, but the core remains the same.

In this way, Yonder feels unique in its ability to pivot when necessary; to respond to the needs of our community as they unfold and change. This year we have worked in areas of true passion for us; we have built some incredible new links and relationships with young people, local established and aspiring surfers, organisations, our wider surf community and industry around the UK and further afield. We wanted to share some of the moments that make Yonder unique and what made this year so special for us.
